Description
One of my happiest memories is of watching a Dormouse, with my (then teenage) daughter, high on the southern slopes of Dartmoor one sunny September day. It was lazily working its way along a row of brambles, entwined through a hawthorn hedge, munching on blackberries. This chubby little Sleeping Dormouse is full of autumn fruit, curled up safe and warm in it’s nest for the long winter.
