Description
Imperial Griffin (Maquette)
A fearsome mythical beast of ancient legends, stretching back more than 4,000 years, the mighty Griffin epitomises strength, combining the power of both the eagle and the lion; the lords of land and air.
For my sculpture, I chose the most powerful eagle in the world, the spectacular Harpy Eagle, as the inspiration for the ‘eagle’ component of my Imperial Griffin.
